Paul was clever on many occasions - playing one jewish sect against the othe , appealing to Caesar - but he was never loyal to the romans - yet he was a citizen by birth.

The citizenship was useful in spreading the Word - he simply bought time with that. But wearing a flag pin is meaningless in the modern-day Sodom - I don't wear the EU stars either.
